Celebrating Young Talent: Alterra Power Systems Sponsors Rising Star in Rodeo
At Alterra Power Systems, we're not just about powering businesses and industries; we're also passionate about supporting the people and communities that make a difference. Today, we want to spotlight one of the rising stars we’ve had the pleasure to support—Charlie Friday, daughter of an employee from our partner company, Mesa.
Charlie is no ordinary 8-year-old. She’s a standout competitor in the world of youth rodeo, particularly in the 8 and Under Barrel Racing category. When we heard about Charlie’s achievements, we knew we had to get involved. After all, supporting the next generation of talent is something we truly believe in.
We learned that Charlie loves receiving packages with her name on them, so our team got to work. They designed some special Alterra Power Systems/Palmer Johnson Enterprises shirts and sent them directly to her. To our delight, these shirts quickly became her favorites—taking the top spots in her wardrobe.
But that’s not all. Charlie wore one of her new blue shirts to her next competition and, in a thrilling turn of events, won the first event she competed in while wearing it!
Charlie continued to impress, finishing 6th in the prestigious Ogden 8 and Under World Champion Barrel Race Competition, which has earned her a spot in the upcoming Vegas competition.
We couldn’t be prouder to support Charlie on her journey. We’re excited to see where her talent and determination take her next. Keep an eye out for more updates on this incredible young athlete as she races towards even greater achievements!
